In Monasterboice, County Louth, there is a Monastery, which was founded by Saint Buite, who died in 521 AD. It holds this one of the finest High Crosses in Ireland. The Cross of Muiredach gets its name from an inscription at the base of the west face saying Muiredach erected it. The theme of the cross is Christ the King, Lord of the Earth. Size: 1 1/8"w X 2" T
